Hillsborough’s planner will engage with residents, developers, committees, and colleagues to plan growth and development in a community that values history, recreation, and sustainability. Staffing the historic commission advisory board, serving as code enforcement officer, and reviewing site plans, subdivision and construction drawings are some of the job responsibilities. We seek someone who will apply their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to the unique opportunities and challenges we see in our growing community. You will be assisting developers and the public with general land use questions as well as focused architectural and urban design questions within the context of the historic district of Hillsborough.
